BART Board

The BART Board (Beautification, Public Art & Tree Advisory Board) was established to bring together those aspects of city life that enhance our environment.  In combining two existing boards, Beautification and Trees, and adding Public Art, the Commission created a group that has become broad in its scope and impact on the lives of Huntington Woods' residents.

Under the auspices of the BART Board several new innovative programs have been introduced to the community.
These include among other things:
GALLERY HOP -- April 30, 2017 -- watch for details
MUSIC IN THE WOODS -- a Sunday afternoon music program using local talent held in some of the City's underutilized parks.  A Music in the Woods program is held in June, July and August.
DAFFOPALOOZA daffodil sale (2013/2014) and 2016
LITTLE FREE LENDING LIBRARIES located on Wareham across from the park and Scotia between Kingston and LaSalle
SEED LENDING LIBRARY in conjunction with the HW Library.  Residents can borrow seeds to plant in the spring, return seeds to the library in the fall to be lent again.

The BART Board meets on the second Wednesday of the month, 7:30 p.m., City Hall.  The meetings are open to all and involvement is not restricted to Board members. Staff contact: Amy Sullivan
