Important Dates for Upcoming Election
Important dates to remember:
- July 29, 2022 – 5:00 pm - Last opportunity to request a ballot be sent by mail.
- August 1, 2022 – 4:00 pm - Last opportunity to request a ballot in person at City Hall (ballot cannot leave the building)
- August 2, 2022 – 7:00 am to 8:00 pm - Same day registration is available at City Hall with proof of residency.
- Ballots are due by 8:00 pm election night.
If dropping the ballot off at City Hall, there are 24 Hour accessible drop boxes located on the west side of the building along the curb and the east side vestibule. Ballots can also be walked into the City Hall lobby, Monday through Friday, and placed in the black drop box.
The inner ballot envelope has changed color! The old envelopes were green and white and at the request of USPS, they are now purple and white. Some voters may still receive the green and white for the August election as we use up remaining stock. Either envelope is accepted when returning your ballot.
Please make sure to SIGN your absentee ballot before you return it!!
