HW MEN'S CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS

The purpose of the Huntington Woods Men’s Club Scholarship Fund is to provide scholarship grants to individuals living in the City of Huntington Woods who are graduating seniors from high school, students attending colleges or universities as undergraduate or graduate students, or students attending a recognized trade school.

The HW Men’s Club is a volunteer-based organization, and therefore the primary selection criteria for this scholarship will be volunteerism/community service.

Three $1,500 scholarships will be awarded. The deadline for submission is March 29, 2024.

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY SCHOLARSHIPS
Apply by April 18th

The Friends of the Huntington Woods Library are pleased to announce a $1,000 scholarship opportunity for students who volunteer within the organization.

High school seniors who have volunteered with Friends of the Huntington Woods Library, who are graduating from public, private, or home school in June 2024 and will continue their education as full-time college students in the fall of 2024, are eligible.

Each applicant will be considered for the scholarship on the basis of the following:

• 350-word essay (note: essay is the highest percentage of decision weight.)
• Volunteer participation with Friends of the Huntington Woods Library in 2023 or 2024
• Academic achievement
