Planning Commission
Planning Commission is required by law to adopt and implement a master plan for the future development of the City. In addition, the it recommends zoning amendments, reviews site plans and evaluates changes that affect the character and development of the City such as street widening, utility allocation, commercial development, signs, parking areas, open spaces and regional activities that have an impact on the City.

As part of the budget adoption resolution, the City Commission approved the 2019 - 2024 Six-Year Capital Improvement Plan. The CIP is required by the Planning Enabling Act and should reflect the goals and objectives of the Master Plan.  Click here to view the 2019 plan.
